Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit and use Single Concern at https://singleconcern.com.

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is:

Tayfun Gumus
Como, Italy
Email: tayfun.gumus@proton.me

For any privacy-related questions or requests, please contact the Data Controller using the contact details above.

2. Data We Process

When you visit Single Concern, limited technical information may be processed as part of the normal operation and security of the website. This may include:

  • IP address;
  • date and time of the request;
  • requested URL and HTTP method;
  • HTTP status code;
  • browser and user-agent information;
  • referring page;
  • other technical information contained in the HTTP request.

If you contact the Data Controller by email, the information contained in your message and any personal data you choose to provide may also be processed. Such information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the communication, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

Personal data may be processed to:

  • operate, maintain and secure the website;
  • detect malicious activity, prevent abuse and investigate security incidents;
  • understand general website traffic and improve the website and its content;
  • respond to communications sent by email.

The processing described above is primarily based on the Data Controller’s legitimate interest in operating, maintaining, securing and improving the website, and in responding to communications. Where applicable, processing may also be carried out to comply with legal obligations.

4. Server Logs and Security

The website automatically records technical access logs for operational, security and troubleshooting purposes. These logs may contain IP addresses and other information associated with HTTP requests.

Server logs are subject to automatic rotation and therefore remain available only for a limited period. Older log entries are automatically removed as new logs are generated, depending on the configured logging limits and traffic volume.

The website also uses third-party security services to protect against malicious traffic, attacks and unauthorized access. Security-related information may therefore be processed by Defiant, Inc., the provider of the security services used by the website.

Security-related information is retained according to the applicable service configuration and retention rules and only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated security purposes.

Where applicable, international transfers of personal data are protected by appropriate safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

5. Website Statistics

Single Concern uses privacy-oriented website statistics to understand general traffic patterns, such as visits, page views, referring sources, browser and device information, and approximate geographic location.

The statistics system does not use tracking cookies or persistent identifiers. IP addresses are anonymized and hashed before being used for statistical purposes, and statistical data is stored locally on the website infrastructure.

Statistical data is automatically cleaned up and aggregated according to the retention settings configured on the website. Detailed data is configured to be kept for 180 days for aggregation purposes; older detailed records are removed according to the configured cleanup process.

6. Hosting, Cookies and Third Parties

The website is hosted on infrastructure provided by OVHcloud, which may process technical data as necessary to provide and secure the hosting infrastructure.

The public version of Single Concern currently does not use non-essential cookies, advertising cookies or marketing tracking technologies. No behavioural profiling or targeted advertising is performed.

Strictly necessary technical cookies may be used for administrative or security purposes when an authorized user accesses the website administration area. These cookies are not used to track public visitors.

When you contact the Data Controller by email, your message may also be processed by the email service provider used for the contact address.

No automated decision-making, including profiling, producing legal or similarly significant effects on individuals is carried out.

Single Concern does not sell personal data.

7. Your Rights

Where applicable under the GDPR, you may have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of your personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • request data portability where the applicable legal conditions are met.

You may exercise these rights by contacting the Data Controller using the contact details provided above.

You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the website, its infrastructure, the services it uses or applicable legal requirements change.

The date shown at the beginning of this page indicates when this Privacy Policy was last updated.
